Hello Survivors,

the first stretch goal has been unlocked and we still have some time left to unlock more to make the game even better. If you want to see them unlocked help us spread the word about the campaign so we get the strongest last hours possible.

We will continue unlocking stretch goals even after the campaign ends, so do not worry if something will not be unlocked. We will count any late pledges done through the Pledge Manager towards locked stretch goals. Some of them might be unlocked with a German crowdfunding campaign (Spieleschmiede), etc.

Hello Backers,

as I promised in the last update I would like to share with you another 2 stretch goals. We would like to add to the game basic options on how you can set up your role in the game. Do you want to be a healer, damage dealer, or just focus on your economy? These new starting cards (not all have been revealed so far) should provide a lot of new options you can build your strategy around. 

These cards are not in your starting deck but can be obtained by one of the basic actions players have. This action will be more powerful and allows you to choose your own path every single game.

There are more cards we would like to put into the game and we hope we can announce the next batch soon!

Hello Survivors,

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of this project. Your support is truly amazing and without your help, this game will have never been released.

The campaign is funded and we are slowly reaching to unlock the first stretch goal. We still have 5 days left and we hope we can unlock more stretch goals. 

The next one will be revealed tomorrow. You can guess what will be the next stretch goal or if you have any preferences feel free to write in the comments.

Czech Localization info & First Stretch Goal

Hello Backers,

another week of the campaign is over and we are about 85% funded with 9 days left. There is only a little left to successfully fund the entire project and we would like to encourage all the sleeping agents, who are following this project, to wake up. If you want to see this project funded, now is the right chance to support us.


Czech Localization

As probably most Czech backers already know, this game will be published in the Czech Republic by REXHry. It is a small step for this project, but we still hope it will not end only with one publisher. But it needs more time to finish all the negotiations and sadly we are not able to announce any other languages.

Stretch Goal

The first stretch goal has been revealed - the Insert. Hope you like it and we hope we can together unlock it, and even more.

Content of the Exclusive Kickstarter Campaign

Hello Backers,

as we promised in our last update, here is detailed information about the Kickstarter Exclusive Campaign. The current shape is still not final, but we already have the storyline and all the scenarios developed. The campaign is currently split into 21 scenarios where each scenario changes the rules a bit. The whole campaign takes about 12-14 hours to finish. We wanted to make it smaller to allow you to play it in one big session, but the campaign can be saved after each scenario and split into multiple sessions if needed. Because players may choose a completely different order of scenarios every time they play, there is a lot to discover.  Each scenario is designed to be unique and give you a completely new gaming experience.

Time Mechanism

In each scenario, players face a unique event they are trying to accomplish. The core mechanism in the campaign is based on working with time (the duration of each event). Except for the basic shifting with the duration of events, that are already in the game, players can always decide to skip the current event and prolong the duration of the next event in the row. But be aware, there are some consequences, that need to be taken into account :D. It is always the players' decision how much risk they put into being stronger. 


Scenario example - "Imprisoned friend"

"One of our friends has been kidnapped and is imprisoned in the Cynexian base in our neighborhood. It is a dangerous mission! The Cynexian base is very well guarded and it will be quite difficult to break into the prison. We're not strong enough to use the force, so we have to sneak in between the Cynexian guards and run away before it is too late!"

Rules changes

Rules changes: At the beginning of each turn, each player puts the top card of their Deck into their Garbage Dump. Players can't recruit or train new cards, any given screw can be spent to finish events.

Additional setup: Before the scenario starts, choose randomly one leader card from the supply, that represents the imprisoned friend.

Events

Bribe the patrol (Length 3): 

  • Condition to finish the event: Put 12 screws for each player on this event. 
  • At the end of this event if it was not completed, deploy one additional card each round for the rest of this scenario.

Break into the prison (Length 4): 

  • Condition to finish the event: Deal 4 damage for each player to this event. You can target this event only when all deployed enemies are defeated.

Possible endings

The main event successfully finished:  One player can take the imprisoned leader card and place it into their Base (become a part of the player's permanents). Each player destroys the top card of their Deck. Players get two Timeshift tokens (these tokens can be spent to shift with the duration of events).

The last event "Break into the prison" failed and players survived:  Each player unscrews two colored screws from a die of their choice.

Players died:  Each player destroys the top two cards of their Deck and unscrews two colored screws from a die of their choice.

Skipped scenario: Players get two Timeshift tokens and each player unscrews one colored screw from a die of their choice.


Designer's notes: This event is really hard to accomplish as it is really hard to generate such a bit amount of screws per round. But if managed properly the extra leader card and other rewards are worth the effort.


Hope you like how the campaign is done and you will have a lot of fun playing it and finding ways how to get through the scenarios.
